The Village is Lovesong’s favourite breakfast spot in Victoria: specializing in traditional Jewish cooking, their menu features cheese blintzes, challah french toast and the best poached eggs and turkey sausage in town. Imagine our delight when Lee was invited to hang a show there. Jesse Blades and the good folks at The Village are great supporters of local artists and we love them for it.
Six of Lee’s limited edition prints are on display from August 1st to September 30th, 2009. We invite you to come out and enjoy the prints - as well as the work of two other Victoria artists, Donna Ion and Sara Wilson - have some wonderful food and meet Jesse and his crew.
The Village is located at 2518 Estevan Avenue in Oak Bay, between Musgrave and Dunlevy and right near Willows Beach. Their phone number is 250-592-8311.

Hanging at The Village

Lee and The Village owner Jesse Blades

Lee,
Praps I shall eventually make it to Victoria this summer, tho trips to Bumbershoot in Seattle this month, and Kelowna in late Sept may mean I’ll have to set aside this visit for another time. I’m not like my brother, flitting all over the world!
Tis lovely to see your work,
Hi to Patty, tho I’ve only spoken to her on the phone,
Daphne
